Andy is a photographer and informal educator based in the UK, with a passion for using photography to connect people and communities.
At the heart of his work is a commitment to collaboration—he believes in the transformative power of participatory photography to unite individuals and allow them to share their stories.
Drawing from his background in youth and community work, Andy brings a unique perspective to his projects, emphasising themes of identity, equality, relationships, and collective action. He aims to create spaces where people can ask questions, engage in meaningful dialogue, and raise awareness around important social issues.
Andy’s projects often focus on participatory photography, community-based work, social documentary, and portraiture, with a particular emphasis on the relationship between place and the stories that define it.

'check yourself' - chosen by Josh Lustig, Deputy Editor of Photography, FT Weekend Magazine as one of their favourite sets of images.
"I was immediately struck by the tenderness of Andy’s photographs. He explores an emotive and fraught theme with a light touch and a clear, technically evocative, aesthetic. I was pulled into the work, finding more and more to look at the longer I spent with the images." Josh Lustig
